Trained in Medicine and Anaesthesia in London and in Intensive Care in Hong Kong. Research interests in mechanical ventilation, antibiotic pharmacokinetics and optimal use of Intensive Care resources. Main current interest is critical care education. Only (minor) claim to fame: persuading a group of friends (ex-friends?) to write the BASIC Collaboration courses, which have been taught in over 70 countries.
