David Huang
Dr. David Huang trained in Emergency Medicine at Henry Ford Hospital, followed by a CCM Fellowship, NIH Research Fellowship, and MPH at the University of Pittsburgh. He is currently an Associate Professor of Critical Care Medicine, Emergency Medicine, and Clinical and Translational Science at the University of Pittsburgh.
His research focuses on multicenter clinical trials that span the ED and ICU. He served as Medical Monitor of the ProCESS trial, PI of the ProACT trial (R01GM101197; https://clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/show/NCT02130986), and a leader of the ROSE trial (http://www.atsjournals.org/doi/abs/10.1513/AnnalsATS.201608-629OT).
Dr. Huang is a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians and the American College of Critical Care Medicine. He is Director of MACRO (Multidisciplinary Acute Care Research Organization), Director of CRISMA Administrative Core, and Associate Director of the Abdominal Organ Transplant ICU.
