Jyoti Joshi

Jyoti works as an Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) Advisor at the International Centre for AMR Solutions (ICARS), based in Copenhagen, Denmark. A physician with a specialization in Community Medicine and Infectious Diseases she has two decades of experience in public health implementation and policy in the areas of immunization, infectious disease surveillance, and antimicrobial resistance. Dr. Joshi advocates for the need to mainstream AMR mitigation efforts within national health programs such as national immunization programs esp. in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). She has forged vital public health implementation and research collaborations for public health impact in South Asia. Within ICARS, she supports country teams comprising ministries and researchers in Sub-Saharan Africa and Asia for co-developing implementation research-related projects tailored to the local contexts for AMR mitigation.
