Nora is a Swiss-trained intensivist with a background in clinical research and epidemiology. She has worked in Switzerland and Australia and played a key role in the VITAMINS trial, a multicenter study investigating Vitamin C in septic shock.
She holds board certifications in Intensive Care Medicine and General Internal Medicine, as well as a postgraduate diploma in epidemiology from the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM).
Her professional interests focus on sepsis research, healthcare quality improvement, and mentoring young clinicians. Since 2023, Nora has led the Swiss Sepsis Program as Medical Program Manager, overseeing the implementation of the Swiss National Action Plan on Sepsis (SSNAP) to improve sepsis care nationwide.
