Kristoffer Strålin

Kristoffer is a Senior Consultant in Infectious Diseases at Karolinska University Hospital and Associate Professor at Karolinska Institutet, Stockholm, Sweden. His clinical work and research are focused on sepsis, pneumonia, and COVID-19. Since 2019, he has chaired the development of the national patient-centred clinical pathway for sepsis, which is currently being implemented throughout Sweden. He also leads the development of a digital surveillance system of the population with community-onset sepsis in Sweden. Kristoffer Strålin is a partner of the European consortium IMPACCT, that works with precision diagnostic tools for rapid stratification of sepsis patients to enable tailored immune-adjuvant therapy, with the goal to improve survival from sepsis.
