Elvis Temfack

Elvis is the Head of R&D and Clinical Trials Coordination at the Center for Science and Innovation at Africa CDC, based in Ethiopia. He is a medical doctor and researcher with over 15 years of clinical and health research experience and a record of publications in high-readership international journals.

Before joining Africa CDC, he worked at Epicentre, the Research department of “Doctors Without Border” (Médecins Sans Frontières) as a clinical research coordinator in Malawi supporting the Ministry of Health in HIV-first line treatment policy change.

He is highly experienced in health research and health research ethics. He is also a member of many collaborative working groups and advisory committees across different initiatives.
